Job Description

Opportunity: Grow Your Career

Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing by associates, and working as a team. Focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience through engagement, store cleanliness, and exceptional customer service.

  • Create a positive experience for internal and external customers
  • Promote honesty, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Manage truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor
  • Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • Coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty for smooth flow of goods
  • Ensure tasks are completed according to store plans, prioritizing as needed
  • Monitor team productivity and provide coaching
  • Organize and rotate back stock for replenishment
  • Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the backroom
  • Comply with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • Communicate effectively with management and associates about priorities and progress
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • Partner with management on training needs
  • Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs
  • Support shrink reduction initiatives
  • Maintain a safe environment and promote safety awareness
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and respond to changes effectively
  • Team player with effective collaboration skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodations
  • Experience: 1 year in retail and 6 months in a leadership role
