Job Overview

Fulfillment and Receiving Colleague, also known as a Back of House colleague, supports store operations, maintains inventory accuracy, and helps ensure a smooth customer experience. Responsibilities include receiving and organizing merchandise, picking, packing, processing trailers, retrieving orders from back-of-house storage, and delivering them curbside to customers. You will monitor alerts to help ensure Ready on Time completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders and help keep the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently. Note: bolded sections reflect emphasis from the original text and are kept as plain text here due to formatting limits.

You will also interact with customers—greeting shoppers warmly, resolving issues, and delivering orders curbside with care. Attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence will impact customer satisfaction and store performance.

This role goes beyond behind-the-scenes support. The customer is at the heart of what we do—every day. If you're passionate about selling, reaching goals, teamwork, and creating amazing experiences through genuine hospitality, this could be the perfect fit.

How our Fulfillment and Receiving Colleagues spend their day
  • Our colleagues begin each day energized and ready to make an impact. They wear their name badge with pride, greet teammates, review goals, learn about new products and promotions, and prepare the store for success. They receive merchandise, tag items, and organize the stockroom, bringing energy and focus to ensure smooth operations and strong results.
  • On the floor, they focus on the customer—greeting customers warmly, listening, resolving issues, and building trust through helpful interactions on the floor, during curbside pickups, or through accurate order fulfillment.
  • Throughout the day, they maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves.
  • We believe service starts with each other—supporting one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
  • Excellence is a journey—we strive to improve daily, take pride in work, achieve sales goals, and learn from each other to deliver results.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Information regarding hours for benefit eligibility can be found here.
