Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store, including customer service and service desk interactions. You will engage with customers, support store operations, and contribute to a friendly shopping experience.

Responsibilities include cart management, trash handling in multiple areas, basic cleaning, and collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills for customer interactions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products.

Responsibilities

• Move shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment during winter conditions.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments like Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
