Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Augusta, Maine is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Full-Time Selling Floor Supervisor to join our store leadership team.

You will work closely with Store Management in Merchandising, Customer Service, Operations, and Human Resources to drive results and develop a strong frontline team. This role requires supervisory experience, the ability to manage a full-time schedule including nights and weekends, and a focus on safe, friendly, and efficient

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within retail or similar environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales through training, developing, and coaching direct reports.
• Promote safety and adherence to company guidelines for customers and associates.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Support in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in workload planning meetings and community relations activities.
• Coordinate meal/break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Location: 01864 – Augusta, 42 Whitten Road, 04330. Regular Full-Time. Base pay: $17.10 – $19.10 per hour.
