Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Kenner, LA. You will assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to supporting customers, and you will cross-train to support cash register duties as needed.

The role emphasizes a clean, welcoming environment, safe conduct, and professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. Prior retail customer service experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash and presenting areas.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
