Qualifications

The Freight Flow Supervisor will assist in the efficient operation and maintenance of the receiving area. Responsibilities include the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of freight flow to the sales floor in accordance with established processing and visual merchandising standards. Maintain back stock and manage damaged goods to minimize profit loss. Join our 40-year history of retail success and enjoy a 20% discount on all Ollie’s purchases.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow, keeping the receiving area and dock orderly and safe.
• Maintain safety standards in the receiving area.
• Ensure the accuracy of incoming merchandise and assist in merchandise display setup.
• Lead and direct other Associates assisting with freight processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty, including opening and closing the store, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of six months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays regularly.
• Positive attitude with good interaction skills with customers and team members.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods and work safely.
