Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Rockford, IL is seeking a Receiving Specialist who will help receive, process, and move merchandise from delivery to the sales floor.

You will assist with freight handling, merchandising, and maintaining an organized receiving area while supporting efficient store operations. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred; a high school diploma is preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.
