Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Wallace, NC is seeking a Receiving Specialist to help move merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, manage freight, and maintain an organized receiving area.

You will assist with pricing, merchandising, store recovery, and training new associates, while communicating needs to Team Leaders. This role supports efficient store operations and requires a high school diploma and reliable availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and teamwork with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.

Position Overview

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
