Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is hiring a Controller in Manitowoc, WI to lead client accounting advisory services. Your role will include acting as a financial consultant, mentoring team members, and preparing client financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting and 6 years experience, preferably in restaurant franchises.

The position offers flexible PTO, up to 12 weeks paid parental leave, mental health coverage, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant work experience as a Controller or equivalent required.
• Public accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Experience involving restaurant franchises is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Controller for designated clients.
• Consult and advise clients on accounting best practices.
• Mentor staff and assist in designing custom back-office solutions.
• Prepare and analyze client financial statements.
• Manage reporting packages for management and Boards.
