Job summary

Michael Kors in New York, NY is seeking an energetic FP&A professional to partner with US Wholesale divisions in planning Sales, Margin and SG&A expenses, assist in annual budgets and monthly forecasts, and review trends with business partners.

You will pull reports in SAP and other systems, help with month-end closes, oversee Capex budgets, and prepare journal entries. Strong Excel, analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of FP&A experience.
• Retail and Consumer Product Industry experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with US Wholesale divisions to plan Sales, Margin and SG&A expenses.
• Assist in annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Meet with business partners monthly to review expenses and identify risks & opportunities.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with SAP and P&L reconciliations.
• Oversee Wholesale Capex budget and prepare journal entries for accruals/reclasses.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects as requested.
