What you'll be doing day to day
Contribute to fulfilling customer orders across various sales channels in the retail store by ensuring efficient product availability and replenishment. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving inbound goods and maintaining inventory accuracy at the point of receipt.
- Moving products to final selling locations, whether in storage or on the sales floor.
- Replenishing sales space with flexibility, following visual merchandising guidelines.
- Selecting goods for customers within the specified time frame to ensure excellent service.
- Certifying operation of powered mobile equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Handling goods through unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking, picking, and loading.
- Using scanner equipment and inventory management systems effectively.
- Promoting a culture that embraces diversity and reflects IKEA's values among co-workers and customers.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in high-volume warehouse operations or receiving/replenishment. Certification in at least one powered mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, electric pallet jack) is preferred.
