Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and a friendly attitude across Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers and teammates, stock and merchandise displays, and use technology to perform tasks efficiently.

In a fast-paced environment, you’ll follow food safety procedures, work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, and stay active while helping customers daily.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
