Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Have ability to lift heavy cartons from the floor to overhead racks
• Stock all warehouse, drop ship, and back stock inventory
• Front and face merchandise on shelves as directed by manager
• Ability to read and explain directions for unfamiliar products
• Customer service is priority one at all times
• Each customer must be greeted with a smile and asked, "What can I help you find today?"
• Always walk the customer to all products
• Make certain the customer has everything they need for their project
• Must be available to work on at least one day of the weekend, 16-28 hours per week

Qualifications

• Vast knowledge of hardware related products and home projects is a plus
• Minimum of 1-3 years retail experience is a plus
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
• Physical requirements: use a scanner to scan all merchandise and use a Point of Sale keyboard and computer keyboard for all transactions; see and read product labels; communicate with customers; manual dexterity for cash registers, computers, and assembly of some products; quick accurate change; stand extended periods; bend, climb, twist; retrieve, stock, move product; lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
