Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Virginia Beach area store team. You will perform routine maintenance to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart facilities, equipment, and fixtures, under supervision of the General Maintenance Manager.

This role requires hands-on multi-trade skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) and the ability to follow schedules, respond to emergencies, and document repair work.

Qualifications

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple trades.
• Must be 18 years or older and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• 1 year of trade experience or 2 years total in plumbing, electrical, or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Receive and respond to work orders to support stores and associates.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair facilities, equipment, or fixtures as needed.
• Complete safety and training requirements to operate tools safely.
