Job summary

CITY HOME in Tamarac, FL is seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to support the Facilities Manager and keep showroom spaces in top condition. You will perform routine upkeep, respond to maintenance requests, and help ensure safe, functional environments for customers and Associates.

Responsibilities include building upkeep, electrical work, fixture installation, and preventive maintenance of doors, bays, and sprinkler systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school is a plus.
• 2–5 years of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance experience.
• Retail environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior maintenance across showroom locations.
• Maintain electrical components, lighting, outlets and control panels.
• Install and repair fixtures, plumbing, doors and hardware.
• Inspect equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
