Job summary

Clean Harbors in Avon, NY, is seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to provide environmental services including collection, disposal and on-site cleanup for damaged or recalled products. You will drive a box truck to retail sites, handle hazardous materials with safety at the forefront, and prepare shipping documents.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to use a laptop, handheld, printer and iPhone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow all policies.
• Pick up, pack and transport damaged, recalled, and discarded goods.
• Load and segregate materials and waste for safe transport.
• Drive a Box Truck to retail sites and interact with customers at stops.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and complete tasks with available tech.
• Perform tasks in compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies.
