Responsibilities

  • Own online assortment across partner websites and internal platforms.
  • Optimize product listings for conversion, SEO, and customer engagement.
  • Discontinue obsolete SKUs and maintain catalog integrity.
  • Lead product launches with designers for new lines and SKU setup.
  • Ensure accurate onboarding of new SKUs into retailer systems and PIM platforms.
  • Oversee catalog maintenance, audits, and data integrity across channels.

Overview

Brief Summary: As a data‑driven Retail E‑Commerce & Channel Catalog Manager you will lead digital product lifecycle, online performance optimization, and omnichannel execution across national retail partners. This role owns online assortment, product life cycle, and catalog integrity.

Essential Functions
  • Own online assortment across retail partner websites and internal platforms
  • Optimize product listings for conversion rate, search visibility (SEO), and customer engagement
  • Discontinue SKUs as they become obsolete
  • Improve digital content including imagery, enhanced content modules, specifications, and installation resources
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and inventory performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve ranking, reduce friction, and increase digital sell‑through
  • Lead product launches including working with designers to curate new lines, content development, and SKU setup
  • Ensure accurate onboarding of new SKUs into retailer systems and PIM platforms
  • Oversee ongoing catalog maintenance, audits, and data integrity across all digital channels
  • Conduct regular quality checks to resolve discrepancies in product data, imagery, attributes, and specifications
  • Serve as the primary liaison between sales, purchasing and design (Cross‑Functional Leadership)
  • Provide data‑driven insights to executive leadership on digital growth opportunities
  • Align product development and sourcing strategy with online demand trends
  • Other duties as assigned
Secondary Functions
  • Monitor SKU performance
  • Identify trends within big‑box stores
  • Work with the product and design team to create the products
  • Work with photography to get the product shot and onboard onto the e‑commerce platforms
  • Understand SEO strategies, such as keywords, and implement those strategies into the product pages, titles, or attributes
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years experience in e‑commerce management, digital merchandising, or omnichannel retail strategy
  • Experience managing online business within large retail partners
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data and translate into action
  • Deep understanding of SEO, digital merchandising principles, product data management, and conversion optimization
Supervisory Responsibility
  • Supervises 1–2 Catalog Associates, overseeing daily work, performance, and development
Work Environment
