Job summary

Goodwill Industries in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a full-time non-exempt retail associate to support shoppers and donors and uphold Goodwill’s mission.

You will greet customers, stock merchandise, assist with transactions, and maintain store presentation while adhering to safety and security procedures. Hours may include nights and weekends and involve heavy lifting and movement of goods.

• Provide accurate information and friendly service throughout the store.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors upon entering the store.
• Bag merchandise, promptly answer the phone with the proper greeting, and accurately process returns.
• Receive, stock, tag, count and inventory merchandise.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center.
• Stock textiles, electronics, furniture, housewares, exercise equipment, and other hard goods to ensure safety.
• Perform general housekeeping, custodial and janitorial duties as scheduled.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
