Job summary

Goodwill Industries is seeking a part-time associate in Batesburg-Leesville, SC to extend customer service to shoppers and donors and support store operations. You will greet customers, assist donors, stock merchandise, handle phone greetings, and ensure safety of items on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, stocking textiles and other goods, keeping the store clean, and performing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Functional reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors upon entering the store.
• Bag merchandise, promptly answer the phone with the correct Goodwill greeting, and handle store returns accurately.
• Receive, stock, tag, count and inventory merchandise.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center.
• Stock textiles, electronics, furniture, housewares, exercise equipment, and other hard goods to ensure items are safe and not recalled.
• Perform general housekeeping, custodial and janitorial duties as scheduled.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
