Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas in Granbury is seeking a part-time Retail Donation Attendant to help receive, sort, and document donations, while ensuring the donation area stays clean and organized. The role involves standing and lifting up to 50 pounds and provides 28 hours per week with varying days.

The position emphasizes friendly customer service, accuracy, and teamwork, with duties including assisting customers, loading items, and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accept donated goods from donors and provide receipts.

• Maintain donation areas clean and organized; load/unload trucks.
• Assist with general cleaning functions of store; other duties as assigned.
• Open availability preferred (store open 7 days a week, 8 AM–7 PM).

Description

Job Title:Retail Donation Attendant (Medium) PT

Locations:Store #19Granbury --- 1317 South Morgan Street, Granbury, Texas

Salary:$15.34 per hour

Work Hours:PT (28 Hrs. per Week) Days and hours vary; 2 Days Off per Week

General Job Duties:Accept donated goods from donors in a friendly and courteous manner and provide receipt. Sort donations according to set guidelines; track and record goods received; use material handling equipment to move/transport, and sort donations; maintain interior and exterior donation areas clean and organized; properly load and unload company trucks and trailers. Assist with all general cleaning functions of store; other duties as assigned. Open availability of schedule preferred (store open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM).

Skills/Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required. One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred. Ability to meet production quotas. Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment, tablets, receipt printer; use pushcart, hand truck, pallet-jack, barrels, boxes; and make decisions based on quality of donated products. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Physical Requirements:Physical stamina needed to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Able to work inside and outside of store with exposure to weather, dust/dirt, and other air-borne particles. Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching (6 ft. with use of ladder, if needed); pulling, pushing, and lifting 50 pounds on a consistent basis, heavier lifting may be required with assistance.
