Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Hampstead, MD is seeking a store team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience and promote sales. You will process donated merchandise for sale, price and ticket items, and support efficient store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include English proficiency, being at least 18 years old, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, meets minimum quota, item per Gaylord, and sell thru set for assigned department.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Safeguards company property, including donated goods; reports incidents of theft or misuse.
• Maintains sales floor and workstation according to standards.
• Stocks merchandise in assigned areas.
• Identify hazardous materials and alert leadership as needed.
• Follow safety rules and use safety equipment; report hazards.
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; lift/bend/push as required.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
