Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Waynesville, NC to install and maintain electronics displays at major retailers. You will visit stores within an assigned territory, follow display diagrams, and report results with surveys and photos the same day.

This role offers up to 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, with no weekends or evenings. Training is provided; W2 employment with weekly pay; travel reimbursement and 401(k) options are available.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience in retail or 3PL is desirable.
• Ability to follow complex display diagrams and written instructions.
• Comfortable working independently and with a small team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Tech-ready with internet access and GPS-enabled device.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to complete projects within an assigned territory.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos for each visit.
• Report into the program and coordinate scheduling within the territory.
• Travel primarily within local region; up to 20 hours weekly.

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
