Job summary

ActionLink is hiring a part-time Retail Display Installer in Elizabeth City, NC 27909 and surrounding areas. You will visit major retailers to set up and maintain product displays, ensuring proper placement and troubleshooting as needed. No weekends or evenings; up to 15 hours weekly, 8:00am–6:00pm.

Compensation is $19.00 per hour for general merchandising, with higher rates for additional technical projects. W2 employment includes bi-weekly pay, with paid training and PTO accrual.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams with accuracy.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Internet access and a GPS-enabled smart device with latest OS; laptop/desktop access; basic handheld tools.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores across the Elizabeth City, NC area to set up and maintain product displays.
• Report same-day surveys with feedback and photos after each visit.
• Operate within a 15-hour per week schedule, Mon-Fri, 8:00am–6:00pm; no weekends/evenings.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients' brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment;small and large home appliances;tablets & laptops;gaming consoles;home audio;and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:up to 15hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings.
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit
