ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Traverse City, MI to install electronics displays and manage merchandising projects across a designated territory. The role emphasizes on-site setup, maintenance, and optional higher-rate projects, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend work.

You’ll work with major brands, document visits with photos, and have opportunities for more hours by covering larger regions. A driver’s license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Versatility: handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Attention to detail: follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and teamwork: work independently and with a small team when needed.
• Tech-ready: internet access, basic tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS device.

Responsibilities

• Store visits: complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory; set up and maintain products across electronics and home goods.
• Purpose: ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Reporting: submit surveys with feedback and pictures for each visit.
• Travel: up to 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday; 8:00 am–5:00 pm; no weekends/evenings.
• Additional opportunities: more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

• **Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!

• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**

• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**

• Scheduling: Up to 20 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings

• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**

• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**
