Job summary

ActionLink is hiring a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to service Sault Sainte Marie, MI 47983 and surrounding areas. Responsible for store visits, display setup and maintenance, and reporting with photos.

This role offers up to 15 hours per week, primarily Monday–Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with potential for more hours in larger regions or travel. The compensation is $19.00 per hour for general merchandising projects, with higher rates for additional technical projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail displays is desirable.
• Ability to read and follow display diagrams and instructions.
• Comfortable working independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Store visits to retail locations within assigned territory.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos and feedback for each store visit.

• Scheduling:Up to15hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
