Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to install and service electronics displays in New York City and surrounding areas. You will visit stores, set up products, and maintain displays from HD TVs to laptops, following diagrams and instructions.

The role requires travel within the territory, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable transportation. Training is provided; wage is hourly with weekly pay and potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or relevant retail settings.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Able to stand, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores to set up and maintain product displays across electronics categories.
• Complete store visits and submit same-day surveys with photos and feedback.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure proper placement and maintenance of displays.
• Follow provided display diagrams and instructions; report issues as needed.

• **Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling: Up to 10 to 25 per week, availability required Monday - Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings. Need Reliable Transportation.
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• **Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• **Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
