Job summary

ActionLink in Saratoga Springs, NY is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to visit major stores, set up and maintain displays, and ensure products are properly placed.

You will work up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 6:00pm, with paid training, PTO accrual, and a bi-weekly pay schedule. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail work is highly desirable.
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory.
• Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and teamwork: able to work independently and with a small team.
• Requires internet access, handheld tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device; laptop/desktop access is a plus.
• Must have a driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to set up and maintain a wide variety of products.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Represent clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel in-store.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures after each visit.
• Work up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Thursday; 6:00am to 6:00pm.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment ; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• Scheduling: Up to20 hours per week, availability required Monday-Thursday; 6:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings**
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory**
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams**
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed**
• Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus**
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.**
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance**
