Job summary

ActionLink seeks a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to cover Houston, TX 77070 and surrounding areas. You will visit major retail stores to set up and maintain a wide range of products, ensuring displays are accurate and promotional materials are correctly installed.

You will submit same-day digital surveys with photos, and travel within the territory. The role offers up to 28 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Merchandising experience in retail environments.
• Ability to follow display diagrams and instructions.
• Comfortable working independently within a territory.
• Previous 3PL or distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retailers within assigned territory to set up and maintain product displays.
• Capture and submit same-day survey feedback with photos for each store visit.
• Ensure correct product placement, assembly and promotional displays.
• Report travel within territory and manage time to meet schedule.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients' brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products -you'd be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment;small and large home appliances;tablets & laptops;gaming consoles;home audio;and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to 28 hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
