Job summary

ActionLink is hiring a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Allen, TX and surrounding areas to drive the retail presence of global brands. You will visit stores, set up and maintain displays, and report outcomes with photos daily.

Ideal candidates have merchandising or retail experience, can follow diagrams, and own a vehicle. The role offers weekday schedules, travel flexibility, and paid training in a W2 role with 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to follow display diagrams and instructions.
• Must have a valid driver; license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Internet access and a Wi-Fi-enabled smart device required.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores within an assigned territory to set up and maintain products across categories such as TVs, home appliances, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, and audio equipment.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
• Represent global clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to30hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
