Job summary

ActionLink in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to visit major stores, set up and maintain product displays, and ensure proper placement of electronics, home appliances, tablets, and more across the territory.

The role offers up to 10 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or evenings. W2 employment with weekly pay, optional 401(k) match, travel reimbursement, paid training, and PTO accrual are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow complex display diagrams and instructions.
• Capable of working independently and with a small team.
• Willing to travel within assigned territory and drive a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores, set up and maintain promotional displays.
• Ensure proper placement and troubleshoot displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos after each visit.
• Report progress and coordinate with clients in CO region.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment ; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• Scheduling: Up to10 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings**
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory**
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams**
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed**
• Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus**
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.**
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance**
