Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Grand Junction, CO to visit major retail stores and represent client brands by setting up and maintaining a wide range of products from electronics to home appliances.

You will ensure proper placement and maintenance of displays, report via same-day digital surveys, and may receive higher pay for additional projects. Training is provided and PTO accrues weekly for hours worked.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, 3PL, or retail experience is highly desirable
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising within territory
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex display diagrams
• Able to work independently and with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready with internet access and GPS-enabled device
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for store visits
• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients? brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products ?you?d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling: Up to 10 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Compensation: The wage range for this position is $20.00 to $20.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability: Must have driver?s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
