ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Garden City, KS and surrounding areas. You will visit major retail stores to set up and maintain displays, ensuring proper placement and functionality while representing top brands.

This role offers up to 25 hours per week, weekday daytime shifts, with travel between local stores paid and supported by training. Pay starts at $22.00 per hour for general projects, with higher rates for specialized tech projects.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Able to follow complex display diagrams and written instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver?s license.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores in assigned territory to set up and maintain product displays.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of displays.
• Represent clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose and Intel.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, up to 25 hours per week; no weekends or evenings.
• Travel daily to Garden City stores with possible bi-weekly trips to nearby towns; travel is paid.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.

Job responsibilities

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling: Up to 25 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Travel: There will be daily trips needed for Garden City with possible bi-weekly travel to Goodland, Great Bend, Dodge City, Liberal and anything else in the vicinity. Drive time and mileage paid to get to ALL of these locations.
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability: Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
