Job summary

Acosta, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser to support store visits in Newington, CT and surrounding areas. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot client displays to drive sales while ensuring accurate planograms are followed.

We offer a 30–40 hour work week, with flexible hours within a Monday–Friday window and occasional weekend coverage. Prior merchandising or 3PL experience is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous merchandising or 3PL/retail experience preferred.
• Ability to follow planograms and read instructions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retailers within an assigned radius to complete merchandising projects.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot client displays to maximize sales.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos after store visits.
• Work Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with 30–40 hours weekly; occasional weekends.

ActionLink is seeking aFull-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiserto join our team forNewington, CTand the surrounding area.

**What you will do: **

• **Store Visits:**Complete projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned radius territory

• **Purpose:**To turn shelves into sales magnets and drive revenue by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' promotional product displays

• **Clients:**Represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and many others

• **Scheduling:**This position offers 30-40 hours per week. Project hours and times fluctuate, so flexibility Monday through Friday typically between 8:00am to 5:00pm is necessary for the position. No evening hours required. Available to work on Mondays through Friday and occasional weekends.

• **Additional Opportunities:**If you can cover a larger region and travel to other outlying areas or states, there may be opportunities for additional hours

• **Reporting:**Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit

• **Education: **High School diploma or GED

• **Retail Experience:**Previous merchandising, Must be experienced in 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable

• **Versatility:**Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory

• **Attention to Detail:**Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams, Detail‑oriented with the ability to read planograms accurately.

• **Independence and Teamwork:**Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed, Flexible and a team player with a strong sense of urgency to complete projects.

• **Tech-ready:**Access to the internet, basic hand‑held tools, and a smart device with Wi‑Fi/GPS capability. Access to a laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus.

• **Travel Ability:**A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle transportation

• **Physical Ability:**Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
