• We are hiring immediately for a RETAIL DINING MANAGER position.
• Location: The Anecdote at Kilroy Oyster Point, 348 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full Time; Monday through Friday 7am-7pm.
• Details: The Retail Dining Manager will manage 10-25 hourly associates. Key responsibilities include:
  • Oversees dining service operations at a medium to large volume location.
  • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Assists with profit and loss and budgeting as it pertains to this account.
  • Works with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top-quality food.
  • Assists in the responsibility for all food service-related activities and be primarily involved in meal services in a seated dining room setting, including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities.
  • Assists with the rollout of new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team.
  • Assists with the preparation of quarterly reports for client presentation.
  • Works with marketing and culinary departments to increase sales through innovations and food quality.
  • Communicates with the culinary department to ensure the food programs reflect the company's vision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
• Requirement: 2+ years of full-service restaurant management experience.
• Salary Range: $75,000-85,000

Job Summary

Summary: As a Retail Manager III, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager or Director in the overall success of the operation. This includes adhering to the client’s culture and guidelines, the Health Departments regulations, and company’s standards & policies. This position also motivates, trains, develops, and directs all employees to accomplish the objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers and client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the day-to-day service of the operation.
• Plans and supervises special functions, maintains cash controls and payroll records, and oversees the hiring of frontline team members.
• Directs and trains staff to provide scheduled retail services.
• Completes all daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of retail operational management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Retail marketing experience is preferred.
• Experience with cash retail operations.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• Associates degree is preferred.
