Job summary

URW seeks an Associate, Retail Design Management to oversee tenant design initiatives for U.S. assets, aligning storefronts, interiors, signage, and materials with design criteria and brand standards.

You will collaborate with Leasing, Asset Management, and cross-functional teams from concept through construction and store opening. The role emphasizes design excellence, stakeholder coordination, and timely project execution across flagship and redevelopment projects, under the Senior Design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or related discipline.
• Two to four years of professional experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, mixed-use, or commercial design management.
• Experience in architectural review, design development, tenant coordination, or project management within a multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Review tenant concept, preliminary, and final design submissions for compliance with landlord design criteria and project-specific requirements.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of tenant design projects from initial review through store opening.
• Promote and uphold a high standard of retail design across assigned projects.
• Participate in construction site walks, punch walks, and store opening reviews.
