Job summary

URW is seeking an Associate, Retail Design Management to support tenant design initiatives across assigned assets in the U.S. retail portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Design Director, you will manage tenant design projects, support redevelopment, and elevate design standards across flagship assets while aligning with URW design criteria and brand standards. The role collaborates with Leasing, Tenant Coordination, Asset Management, Operations, Design & Construction, and external teams to

Qualifications

Two to four years of professional experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, mixed-use, or commercial design management.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or related discipline.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other industry-standard design software.

Responsibilities

Review tenant design submissions for compliance with landlord criteria and project requirements.
Manage an assigned portfolio of tenant design projects through store opening.
Balance design excellence with commercial objectives and project schedules.
Participate in construction site walks, punch walks, and store opening reviews.
Collaborate with Leasing, Asset Management, Operations, and cross-functional partners to elevate design solutions.
