Job summary

TJ Maxx in Strongsville, OH is hiring a team-oriented retail associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, support efficient store operations, and deliver an excellent customer experience through friendly service and a well-organized sales floor. You’ll participate in training, teamwork, safety, and adherence to labor laws, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Starting pay ranges from USD 14.50 to 15.00 per hour, plus benefits and opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task and handle changing directions.
• Team player; able to work with peers and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Able to train others.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards and ensures Associates are processing efficiently.
• Creates positive customer experience through engaging service and organized store.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains backroom organization and supports store productivity and safety.
