Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Retail Department Manager-Custom Framing in El Paso, TX. You will lead a team of framers, coach selling behaviors, and drive high-quality framing solutions for customers.

You will partner with the Store Manager to ensure SOP adherence and sales targets, while overseeing inventory, safety, and omni-channel processes. Ideal candidates have retail management experience, a background in framing, and proven leadership of a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships while creating framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing outcomes.
• Assist Store Manager in SOP adherence and company program compliance; ensure policies and standards.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to deliver on-time framing projects and KPI targets.
• Review sales and production workload; build plans and allocate floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory processes, shrink, and safety programs; participate in hiring and training.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support Talent Development activities.
• Engage with customers in a positive way; promote the company's vision and values.
• Support Omni-channel processes and assist with truck unloads and stocking.

Drive custom framing sales.
