Circana is hiring for a part-time Retail Scan Associate in NY to visit local stores weekly and scan product barcodes for data used to boost sales performance. Hours average 5–11 per week with extra project work throughout the year, including busy January–June, in a flexible scheduling environment.

You’ll work across multiple store types with a downloadable app, handling data collection and occasional custom projects, while maintaining dependable, detail‑oriented performance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Able to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Scan barcodes using a downloadable app on a mobile phone and provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Work across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise retailers for data collection.
• Complete store scanning weekly; some weeks include Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines to deliver data to clients with dependable, quality-driven effort.
