Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Perry, Michigan store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean to provide a great shopping experience.

Qualities include strong customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a preference for a high school diploma and prior retail experience. This is a part-time, on-site role with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Maintain a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
