Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a welcoming shopping experience in our Perry store. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock merchandise, and help with unloading trucks as needed, while keeping areas neat and safe.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and reliability. A high school diploma is preferred, and previous retail or service experience is a plus. This is a part-time, on-site position in Perry, FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, lifting).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness across the store, restocking and cleaning bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
