Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, manage stock, and participate in daily store tasks to keep an orderly and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, restocking merchandise, and collaborating with colleagues to meet productivity standards. Part-time hours and opportunities to grow within a national retailer are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, stocked and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
