Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service. No experience is required—we will teach you!

Role involves helping customers, handling transactions, and maintaining clean facilities. You may assist across departments such as Restaurant Services and Maintenance, with physical duties including lifting up to 25 pounds and working in different temperatures.

• Willingness to learn; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service: help customers, answer questions, and address needs.
• Balance cash register, complete transactions, and pursue additional sales per policy.
• Ensure proper handling of fresh food and deli products with appropriate safety practices.
• Keep working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and trash areas clean.
• Cross-train in departments such as Restaurant Services and Maintenance when needed.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.


• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.


• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.


• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.


• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
