Job Description: Cashier at Love’s Travel Stops

Welcome to Love’s! Our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces while providing friendly service. They ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service for customers and may perform various duties depending on business needs. No experience? No problem — we will teach you!

Job Functions:

1. Perform general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering product and service questions, and addressing customer needs.
2. Balance cash register transactions and offer additional sales opportunities, following all applicable laws.
3. Use various methods and technology to ensure food safety for fresh food and deli products.
4. Maintain cleanliness of your work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and handle trash.
5. Potential cross-training in departments like Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
6. Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
