Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Tulare, CA is seeking a cashier to join a fast-paced store team. You will greet customers, ring up sales, answer questions, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space. Training is provided if you have no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering add-on sales.
• Use techniques to ensure proper handling of food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Cleaning working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and potential leadership roles.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
