Love's Travel Stops is hiring a cashier in Kansas to support customers, operate the register, and keep our deli and fresh foods area clean and safe. You’ll provide fast, friendly service while helping customers find items and answering questions.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register by processing transactions and promoting additional sales in compliance with laws.
• Maintaining food safety standards for fresh food and deli products.
• Cleaning work areas, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps; disposing of trash as needed.
• Cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
