Job Description: Cashier at Love’s Travel Stops

Welcome to Love’s! Our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities while providing friendly service. They deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service. Responsibilities may vary based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are essential. No experience? No problem—we will teach you!

Job Functions:

1. Perform general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
2. Balance cash register transactions and identify additional sales opportunities, following all applicable laws.
3. Utilize various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
4. Maintain cleanliness of your work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and handle trash removal.
5. Potentially cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
6. Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
