Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide friendly, accurate service, handle transactions, and support diverse duties to meet customer needs.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; candidates should be flexible and team-oriented to thrive in this environment. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including assisting customers and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register and handling transactions with accuracy.
• Using diverse methods and technology to ensure food safety for fresh products.
• Cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, and other areas may occur.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers.
• Balance cash register and promote additional sales while following laws.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps.
• Support cross-training in departments such as Restaurant Services and Facility Maintenance.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
