Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring cashiers. No experience is required as training will be provided. You will work in a fast-paced environment, help customers find items, and handle transactions with accuracy while keeping the area clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use of various tools and procedures to ensure food safety of fresh food and deli items.
• Clean and maintain the working area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps; complete trash runs.
• Cross training in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
