Love’s Travel Stops in Illinois is looking for friendly cashiers to deliver fast, accurate service, help customers find items, and handle transactions with a smile.

No experience? No problem—the team will train you. You’ll balance the register, maintain food safety, keep the store clean, and you may cross-train in Restaurant Services or Maintenance. The role supports flexible scheduling and opportunities for tuition assistance and career development.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and upselling opportunities.
• Use of procedures to ensure food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Cleaning and sanitizing your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps and surrounding areas.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen and Maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities.
• Use a variety of methods to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, pumps, and trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
